Iniquity Den's Dram – Fire
The first of a brace of Den’s Drams to celebrate the opening of Iniquity's new home.
Fire. An unusual name for a Den's Dram. It is being released with a companion whisky called Hydrant, and therein lies the clue.
Tasting Notes
Nose
The initial hit is of a fire ground after rain, with plenty of unripe fruit and vanilla and the re-emergence of some smoke.
Palate
The mouthfeel is smooth and even. There are some fruit notes, followed by peat and sightly warming alcohol in equal measures of a medicated, menthol style.
Finish
The finish is lingering and tenacious, without being ferocious.

5 Year Old
50% ABV
750 ml
4 years in predominately American oak, red wine and bourbon, followed by 17 months in a 4th fill, seasoned, French Oak Apera cask.
