Iniquity Den's Dram – Hydrant
The second of a brace of Den’s Drams to celebrate the opening of Iniquity's new home.
Hydrant. Another unusual name for a Den's Dram. It is being released with a companion whisky called Fire, and therein lies the clue.
Tasting Notes
Nose
A delightful combination of caramel, stewed fruit, fig jam and baking spices.
Palate
The mouthfeel is smooth and even. There is a hint of tobacco smoke, tea, burnt toffee and salty Dutch liquorice.
Finish
A gentle spirit warmth is evident together with a battle between the fruit and the liquorice that never ends, just fades away.

Comment
A whisky you can get lost in for hours. A delightfully easy drinking Australian whisky that is deceptively complex and challenging.
